SYNOPSIS:
"I do not remember hearing what was said the first six years of my life, I experienced that nobody heard me, nobody understood me and nobody saw me…
I could not hear and it was difficult, so I learnt to listen with my eyes."

Mette Strømsted is a director, writer and artist who was born with a severe hearing impairment. She poetically shares her intimate and personal memories growing up with this, set to a visually arresting, beautiful set of hand drawn self portraits. Through creating the film ’Three Secrets’, Mette hopes to evoke increased compassion and understanding for all that suffer with hearing impairment and the people around them.
